Oh you're so lucky! New teacher liaison! I'm jealous -- really. This year, I wanted to get involved with the new teacher orientation. I even suggested a panel where 2nd year teachers are put in a room with the new teachers, and everything is totally confidential (nobody but us and them), and they let the new teachers ask us questions. (Didn't happen. Sigh.) And I said I'd love to get involved with new teacher stuff, and maybe be a mentor, or do something to help them out. But no one asked me to. (Double sigh.)
